Hello, test...

Looks like MeeNuvia is back on the air... the image reloading will proceed apace.

(And let me again express my appreciation to Pixy for allowing me to play with his toys, in his backyard, for free!)

Yes, the “Recent Comments” list is screwy

Probably has something to do with 60,000 spam comments (across mee.nu).

Did you feel the server move?

Didn’t feel a thing. Which, for server moves, is good.

Thanks, Pixy!

Loud noises heard from the back room

...thumps, bangs, and occasional curses.

(Later:  It’s late Sunday morning, and we’re still here!)

So we’ll hang up the notice again, just in case:

...and has been, for almost a month.

(Just in case you were wondering.)

Login problems yesterday

...prevented posting.  Busy Friday before Christmas should limit things today.

Play-by-play here, should you care.  The fun starts with comment #2.  Otherwise, explanation.

Site update

Okay, in a few minutes I'll push the button to update to Minx's 1.1 version. According to the boss, the layout shouldn't change any. We'll see...

Minutes later: Well, everything certainly got blue!. I'll try to restore things as the day goes on...

UPDATE 071001 17:47:  Okay, page wants to be 800px, not 750px, sidebar stays at 250px, restore sidebar graphics, titles now live in applets, top banner has to be 790px (which means modify with GIMP) to keep links from running off the end, reset link colors, reset post title color & size, restore post category links, got it...

Club For Growth's RePORK Card-- linked

Now linked in the sidebar, in the "Useful Stuff" section: The Club For Growth's 2007 Congressional RePORK Card:

...Representatives John Campbell, Jeff Flake, Jeb Hensarling, Scott Garrett, and David Obey (1 amendment) offered 50 amendments to strip outrageous pork projects from the appropriations bills...
The Club for Growth has compiled a RePORK Card of all members' votes on all 50 anti-pork amendments...
Rather sad.  While four members of my state's delegation scored 55% or better in favor (one scored 100%), the majority came in at 6% or below.  How did yours do?
