What party did you say that was?

Meanwhile, the Charleston Daily Mail's Don Surber notes a disparity in the the way the Associated Press treated the political affiliations of a pair of corruption suspects.

I can't believe the folks at the AP are so dumb that they believe people don't notice this kind of stuff.  It must be that they don't care.

Another lament for the decline of newspapers

Marking the death of an editor, and a changing institution:

Newspaper companies, not just those in Detroit, seem to have made a decision to publish newspapers for people who do not like to read. They are putting out papers for those who would rather watch television.
