Some smartass commenter at NewsOK.com suggested that Clay Bennett, already reviled in Seattle for having acquired the SuperSonics and taken them elsewhere, should also buy the P-I.
I demur - surely Mr Bennett can get similar results by flushing twenties down his toilet six hours a day - but I have to admit, I like the sound of it.

Looks like things is rough all over: the Indianapolis Star just mandated that all staff take a week of unpaid vacay between now and March. As someone who saw the writing on the wall in college, all I can say is ... told you so.
