In Passing

Talkin' 'bout my generation

What immediately comes to mind on hearing about a company named Stash Tea?

The company derives its name from an entertaining aspect of tea folklore. In earlier centuries, tea was a valuable commodity traditionally transported by clipper ship. The ship's captain often was presented with some of the finest teas for his personal use. This supply was his "stash," stowed carefully as his "private reserve." -- Stash company history page
<Bevis>"He said 'stash' and 'tea.' Huh-huh-huh!"</Bevis>

Good tea, though.  I've been drinking their Chai green and premium green.  And I don't giggle at all.
