Richard McEnroe, blogger, Blair’s place denizen, and long-time internet presence, is in hospital
...for an irregular heartbeat, enlarged heart, and congestive heart failure. His heart is twice the norm. The heart is pumping only 15% of the blood out... Currently [October 10], he is having two procedures... If all goes well they won’t install a pacemaker.
and gunblogger ‘‘Borepatch’’ got tangled up on his bike:
7 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, and a bruised lung. I was lucky that the lung didn’t collapse or get punctured. They had me in the ICU for almost 24 hours.Get mended quick, guys... we need you!
(Borepatch via Brickmuppet. Thanks.)
