The commenting system in MT is just plain hosed.

FWIW I can get that far, too, but the buttons work for me in IE. I don't know, maybe it's a Firefox thing. I then tried it with Pale Moon (Firefox code, not distributed by Mozilla) and it took me to a Google login screen where I logged in with my GMail userid and password.
In IE, I was already logged into GMail so it used the existing session cookie to log me into MT.

Finding a FF replacement is on my to-do list (assuming I ever get my ISP anomalies straightened out), Pale Moon is one I’ll check out.
