“Employment oblivion” at the stroke of a pen

Bill Quick: this case, "stroke of a pen” consignes several hundred thousand people to employment oblivion, thus improving the useless "headline” number by nearly half a point while at the same time covering up the abysmal nature of employment in America these days.
I once said that at this rate, we’d end up with zero unemployment, because we’d have zero people in the labor force looking for work.
