Just saw that myself about an hour ago. It's a damn shame. And it hits me a couple of places I'd rather not be hit, since he's only got about three years on me and I'm trying to regain the delusion that I'll live forever.
Anyway, I'm saving a prayer for the guy, on the off-chance that maybe the Plan calls for him to pull out of this at the last minute. It can't hurt.

Tom was a friend of mine since the mid 70s (CACHE Club).
I'm going to miss him.
We hadn't exchanged e-mails for a while. I should have given him a query. Damn.

The memorial service will be held in Milwaukee where we live somwhere between April-June. If you would like more information I'd prefer that you call (414-342-1767) as my mailbox is a mess right now & I'm afraid of deleting mail.
Both my son & I were able to see Tom & say our goodbyes.
